Add Up the Number Plate
Add the digits on the plate of the car in front and race to say the total first. A queue of traffic turns into a stream of little sums.
What you need
- Nothing to carry
- A view of the road or a car park
How to play
- Pick the nearest car whose plate everybody can read.
- Add the digits together out loud and say the total.
- Score a point for whoever says the correct total first.
- Make it harder for older players: multiply the first two digits instead.
- Hunt for a plate whose digits add up to exactly ten.
- Play to fifteen points and start again on the way back.
