Five Nature Treasures
Agree on five things to find before you leave: something round, something rough, something yellow. An ordinary walk turns into a hunt where every step matters.
What you need
- A bag or a small bucket
- Sticks, leaves, cones, stones — whatever the season offers
How to play
- Before you set off, agree on five finds: something smooth, something rough, something round, something yellow and something tiny.
- Give your child the bag and let them lead the way.
- Stop at every find and let your child explain why it fits.
- Lay all five treasures out on a bench or a flat stone and look at them together.
- Take one treasure home and put the rest back where you found them.
