Laser Maze in the Doorway
Yarn stretched across a doorway becomes a web of laser beams that has to be crossed without a single touch. Building the maze takes as long as getting through it.
What you need
- A ball of yarn or long ribbons
- Masking tape
- A bunch of keys or a small bell
How to play
- Stretch lengths of yarn across a doorway or narrow hallway and tape the ends to the door frame, not to the wallpaper.
- Leave gaps at different heights — one to crawl under, one to step over, one to squeeze through.
- Send your child through without touching a single thread.
- Hang a bunch of keys on the middle thread so any touch is heard.
- Take the whole web down together and let your child design the next one.
