One object is hidden in the room and the search is guided by just two words. Small children can play it for half an hour and never get bored of the moment it turns warm.
What you need
- One everyday object, such as a wooden spoon
- One room
- Two words
How to play
- Pick an object big enough not to vanish — a wooden spoon works well.
- Send the seeker out of the room and hide it in plain sight, not under anything heavy.
- Guide the search with only two words: warmer when they get closer, colder when they move away.
- Whisper the words when they are very close and shout them when they are far off.
- Swap roles as soon as the object is found.
