Torch Hunt in the Dark
Ten ordinary objects hide in a darkened room and a torch beam is the only way to find them. A familiar room looks completely different when you can only see a circle of it at a time.
What you need
- 2 torches or phone flashlights
- 10 everyday objects
- Curtains that close
How to play
- Hide ten everyday objects around one room while your child waits outside the door.
- Close the curtains and switch off the lamps, leaving the hallway light on.
- Hand out a torch each and allow thirty seconds per object.
- Call out what to look for next — something round, something soft, something wooden.
- Count the finds together, then let your child hide the next set.
