Keep the Balloon Off the Floor
One balloon turns the living room into slow-motion volleyball. Because a balloon falls slowly, even a three-year-old gets there in time, and nothing in the room gets knocked over.
What you need
- One balloon
- A cleared patch of floor
- A room with the lamps moved aside
How to play
- Blow up one balloon and tie it, then move breakable things and lamps out of the room.
- Agree on the only rule: the balloon must never touch the floor.
- Tap it back and forth with open hands and count the taps out loud.
- Add a challenge each round — left hand only, heads only, elbows only.
- Collect every scrap straight away if the balloon bursts, and blow up a new one.
