Roll a Can Without Touching It
A balloon rubbed on a jumper drags an empty can across the floor as if on an invisible lead. Two children can race their cans from one wall to the other.
What you need
- Empty aluminium can
- Balloon
- Wool jumper or dry hair
How to play
- Lay the empty can on its side on a smooth floor.
- Blow up the balloon and rub it on the wool jumper for twenty seconds.
- Hold the balloon a couple of centimetres from the can without touching it.
- Move the balloon slowly away and watch the can roll after it.
- Race two cans across the room and rub the balloons again when they stop obeying.
