Bottle Cap Mosaic
The jar of bottle caps everyone keeps collecting finally gets used: first sorting them by colour, then a fish or a letter built out of coloured circles.
What you need
- Collected bottle caps and lids
- Thick card or a box lid
- A pencil
- Glue or double-sided tape
How to play
- Tip out the caps and sort them into piles by colour.
- Draw a big, simple outline on the card — a fish, a flower or a letter.
- Lay the caps inside the outline without glue until the shape is full.
- Glue the caps down one by one, keeping each colour in its own zone.
- Fill the background with the leftover pale caps.
- Stand the mosaic on a shelf where the light falls on it.
