A Comic in Four Frames
Four boxes are enough for a whole story: something happens, it goes wrong, it gets worse, and then it ends in a way nobody saw coming. Stick figures are allowed and even encouraged.
What you need
- A sheet of paper
- A pencil
- An eraser
- Coloured pencils
How to play
- Rule the sheet into four equal boxes with a pencil.
- Think of something small that happened today and invent a surprising ending for it.
- Sketch the four moments lightly: the start, the problem, the worst moment, the ending.
- Go over the best lines darker and add speech bubbles with only a few words in each.
- Colour just the one thing that matters most in every box.
- Read the strip out loud, using a different voice for each character.
