Eight folds turn a square of paper into the snapping fortune teller everybody made at school. Fill it with silly dares instead of fortunes and it survives a two-hour train ride.

What you need

  • A square of paper
  • A pen

How to play

  1. Fold the square corner to corner both ways and open it flat again.
  2. Fold all four corners in to the centre point.
  3. Turn it over and fold the four new corners in to the centre as well.
  4. Slide your thumbs and index fingers under the four flaps and pinch them together.
  5. Write a number on each outer flap and a colour underneath it.
  6. Write a silly dare under every inner flap.
  7. Take turns choosing a colour and a number and doing whatever is hidden there.
