Bottle Bowling in the Hallway

Indoor games

Six empty bottles at the end of the corridor become a bowling alley, and a ball of socks does the knocking. The score gets written down, so counting sneaks in unnoticed.

What you need

  • 6 empty plastic bottles
  • A little water
  • Two pairs of socks rolled into a ball
  • Paper and a pen for the score

How to play

  1. Line up six empty plastic bottles in a triangle at the end of the hallway.
  2. Pour two fingers of water into each bottle so they stand up but still fall over.
  3. Roll the sock ball along the floor from the far end of the corridor.
  4. Count the fallen bottles and write the score on a scrap of paper.
  5. Step one pace further back after every good roll and play ten rounds.
