Finish the Other Half
One of you draws half a butterfly, a robot or a teapot against the fold, and the other has to build its mirror image. Folding the paper afterwards shows exactly how close you got.
What you need
- Sheets of paper
- A pencil
- An eraser
- A ruler if you want one
How to play
- Fold a sheet down the middle and open it flat again.
- Draw half of a butterfly, a robot or a teapot pressed right against the fold.
- Ask your child to build the missing half so both sides match.
- Fold the paper and hold it up to the window to see how well the halves line up.
- Swap over: your child draws the half and you have to copy it.
