Draw a Map of the Park
Start at the entrance, draw the path as one line and add every fork before you choose which way to go. By the end there is a map someone else can actually walk.
What you need
- A sheet of paper
- A pencil
- A hardback book to lean on
- A bench
How to play
- Sit at the park entrance and draw the path you can see as a single line.
- Walk to the first fork and add it to the map before you choose a way.
- Invent your own symbols for landmarks: a star for the big oak, a square for the bench.
- Count your steps between two landmarks and write the number along the line.
- Add a legend in the corner explaining every symbol you used.
- Hand the map to someone else and let them lead you along it.
- Mark the one place where they got lost and fix the map there.
