Summer Flower Wreath
Two long grass stems twist into a ring, and after that it is flower by flower until a real wreath is ready for Midsummer. Nothing needs buying — it all grows in the meadow.
What you need
- Long grass stems
- Meadow flowers such as daisies, clover and dandelions
How to play
- Pick a handful of flowers with stems as long as your hand.
- Bend two long grass stems into a ring the size of the head and twist the ends together.
- Hold a flower against the ring and wind its stem twice around the frame.
- Add the next flower so its head covers the stem of the one before.
- Work your way round until no grass shows any more.
- Tuck the last stems under the first flower to close the circle.
