Eat a Rainbow
Everything on the plate is sorted by colour into arcs. A quiet colour game that ends with a snack of five different tastes.
What you need
- Cherry tomatoes
- Carrot
- Banana
- Cucumber
- Blueberries or blackcurrants
- A round plate
How to play
- Cut the vegetables and fruit into small pieces yourself and put every colour in its own bowl.
- Name the colours together and decide in which order the arcs will go.
- Let your child lay the first arc along the edge of the plate.
- Fill in the rest of the arcs one colour at a time until the rainbow is finished.
- Count out loud how many pieces are in each arc.
- Eat the rainbow colour by colour and say each colour before it disappears.
