Berry and Yoghurt Ice Lollies
Mash, pour, freeze, wait. The hardest part is the waiting, and the reward is a homemade lolly on a hot afternoon.
What you need
- Thick yoghurt or kefir
- Berries
- A spoon of honey
- Small plastic cups
- Wooden sticks or teaspoons
- A jug
How to play
- Let your child mash the berries in a bowl with a fork until they turn juicy.
- Stir the mashed berries into the yoghurt together with a spoonful of honey.
- Pour the pink mixture into small cups, almost to the top.
- Stand a wooden stick upright in the middle of each cup.
- Put the cups into the freezer and go and check on them every hour.
- Dip the frozen cups into warm water for a moment so the lollies slide straight out.
