A Plate Full of Fruit Animals
Half a banana becomes a dolphin, an apple wedge becomes a hedgehog. Your child turns ordinary fruit into a small zoo and then eats it.
What you need
- Banana
- Apple
- Grapes
- Orange or tangerine
- Raisins
- A large plate
How to play
- Cut the apple into wedges and halve the banana yourself — the child never touches the knife.
- Show one animal as an example: a banana dolphin with raisin eyes.
- Let your child invent their own creatures from wedges, grapes and orange segments.
- Add ears, tails and paws from raisins and small pieces of fruit.
- Photograph the finished zoo before it disappears.
- Eat the animals one by one and say each name out loud.
