Invisible Ink From Baking Soda
A message painted in soda water dries away to nothing and comes back in purple the moment the sheet is brushed with grape juice. A fine way to pass secret notes across the table.
What you need
- Baking soda
- Water
- Cotton bud or thin brush
- White paper
- Dark grape juice
- Wide brush
How to play
- Stir a spoonful of baking soda into two spoonfuls of water until it turns cloudy.
- Write a word or draw a picture on white paper with the cotton bud.
- Let the paper dry completely, until nothing can be seen on it.
- Brush grape juice across the whole sheet with the wide brush.
- Watch the hidden message appear and write an answer for the next round.
