Card With a Surprise Inside
Two cuts along the fold and a step grows inside the card, with a cat, a rocket or grandma's cake standing on it. Open it and the figure jumps out, close it and it hides again.
What you need
- Two sheets of paper
- Safe scissors
- Glue or tape
- Coloured pencils
How to play
- Fold a sheet of paper in half like a book.
- Cut two short parallel slits into the folded edge, about three fingers apart.
- Push the strip between the slits inwards so it becomes a step.
- Draw a figure, cut it out and glue it to the front of the step.
- Glue the card inside a second folded sheet so the cuts do not show.
- Write the greeting and hide the card under somebody's plate.
