Invent Three Dips
One base of yoghurt or curd cheese, three different additions, three completely different tastes. Your child mixes, names them and runs the tasting.
What you need
- Thick yoghurt, sour cream or curd cheese
- Dill and salt
- Honey or jam
- Ketchup or tomato paste
- Carrot, cucumber and bread for dipping
- Three small bowls
- Teaspoons
How to play
- Cut the vegetables and bread into dipping sticks yourself while your child sets out three bowls.
- Spoon the same amount of yoghurt into each bowl so the tasting is fair.
- Let your child stir chopped dill and a pinch of salt into the first bowl.
- Stir honey into the second and ketchup into the third, tasting after every spoonful added.
- Ask your child to invent a name for each dip and write it on a folded paper card.
- Dip a stick of carrot into all three and vote for the family favourite.
