Layered Yoghurt Glasses
Yoghurt, berries and oats spooned into a clear glass one layer at a time. The stripes are the whole point, and a child of three can do it almost alone.
What you need
- Plain yoghurt or curd cheese
- Berries, fresh or thawed
- Rolled oats or crushed biscuit
- Jam or honey
- Tall clear glasses
- A tablespoon
How to play
- Line up the bowls and give your child a tall clear glass and a spoon.
- Spoon in the first layer of yoghurt and smooth the top flat.
- Add a layer of berries, then a layer of oats, pressing your nose to the glass to check the stripes are even.
- Keep going with new layers until the glass is nearly full.
- Finish with a spoonful of jam and one whole berry on top.
- Make a second glass for someone else in the family and carry it to them.
